Love Island first look sees girls reveal their biggest turn-offs before twist explained

The Love Island girls reveal their biggest turn-offs in tonight's explosive debut.

The series kicks off with gusto at 9pm on ITV 2 and a preview has shown what viewers can expect.

As the girls Paige, Indiyah, Tasha, Amber and Gemma look around their new pad, host Laura Whitmore pops up and purrs: 'Welcome to Love Island ".

The Irish presenter, 37, then asks the gang what gives them the ick as they strap in for a summer of love.

Sitting next to the fire pit, she says: “Indiyah, what turns you off?”

Without hesitation, the waitress, 23, replies: “Bad, bad fashion sense!”

Laura then asks Michael Owen's daughter Gemma, 19.

“I’m looking for a guy that is really family orientated - that is so important. Good morals, " the dressage rider explains.

Meanwhile, Amber says she's looking for something long-term, revealing she's been single for a year and half.

As the bevy of beauties get ready to meet their match, Laura drops the bomb that it will be the public who will be playing cupid.

“You thought you’d all be stepping forward for the boys you fancy the most. However, this is Love Island and you never know what to expect," she teased.

"For the first time ever, we asked the public to play cupid and pick the boy they thought you should couple up with.”

Tasha Ghouri, 23, who is the show's first deaf contestant doesn't seem too worried about the twist, stating: "“I trust the public, I trust them.”
