Welsh' Love Island contestant, Paige Thorne, has hinted she could see potential in her coupling with Adam Collard, who she paired up with following the departure of her previous other half, Jacques O'Neill, who left earlier this week. In a first look at the episode for Friday, July 15, paramedic Paige is quizzed by Dami about how she's been feeling since Jacques left and Adam arrived.
She told her fellow Islander: “When Jacques was in here, we weren’t exactly the most perfect couple going on - there were some bumps in the road. That’s still not taking away the feelings and connection I had with him for sure. Since he’s been gone, I feel like everything happens for a reason. I’m enjoying my time getting to know Adam."
Jacques left with an emotional goodbye saying he wanted to be his best version of himself and that he would wait for her on the outside. Paige was then picked by Adam for a date and the returning Islander, who was first on the show four years ago, said he enjoyed their date and said Paige was "class".

Paige wasn't shy in speculating that there may be potential with Adam and with a few weeks of the show left to run, it would be good to see another Welsh winner leave the villa. Asked if there’s potential Paige says: “Potential for me personally I would say yes. I don't know what he’s saying… which really infuriates me."
Telling her he was enjoying seeing her happy, Dami assured Paige that Adam was "set on her," adding: "He’s only saying good things man. He seems really set on you at this moment in time."
Jacques left the villa after Adam entered and broke the news to a teary Paige, saying: "You mean so much to me you know that. I've been trying to put a brave face on but things are getting to me. Basically, like, I just wish I could finish my journey off with you in here but I'm gonna go home today.
"I still want you to enjoy your time in here. Just do what you need to do and listen – I'll be waiting for you. Just do what you have to do – don't even think about me."
With her voice wobbling Paige told him: "Obviously I want you to be happy and it hurts me seeing you this way."
Love Island continues tonight at 9pm on ITV2 and ITV Hub. Episodes are available the following morning on BritBox
