Love Island final: Final couples, how to vote, when is it and how long it's on for

Love Island 2022 is coming to an end tonight.

This series has been a memorable one with epic moments such as Andrew Le Page's x-rated confession over what he got up to with Coco, and Ekin-Su being caught out crawling across the terrace to engage in a cheeky secret kiss with Jay Younger. Davide has provided endless memes with his comical one-liners and Indiyah Polack with her animated facial expressions.

Tasha and Andrew have lasted from day one, despite their rocky rollercoaster ride. Gemma and Luca have also lasted the majority of the ITV2 villa stint. But now, only one couple can win taking the title and the £50,000 cash.

We take a look at everything you need to know about the final. Here is all the answers to your questions including who is in the final, how to vote and when it's on.

What happens in the final?

Every year the couple who receive the most votes from the public are crowned king and queen of the villa. Presenter Laura Whitmore will be there to deliver the news, and also hand each winner an envelope with a cash amount in it. Together, they will then proceed to open their letters and reveal whether or not they contain £50,000 or £0.

The winner with the £50,000 envelope will then decide whether they want to split the cash prize or keep it for themselves. So far, every past winner has decided to split the cash but depending on who wins this year, that may change.

When is the final on and how long is it on for?

The final is set to air tonight, on Monday, August 1st at 9 pm on ITV2. It will be shown live and will be on for one hour and 35 minutes, as it ends at 10:35pm. If you miss it, the episode will also be available over on ITV Hub and you'll be able to stream it on BritBox shortly after.

If you're already wondering when you'll get your next Love Island fix - then you won't have too long to wait. ITV2 will be broadcasting a reunion programme on August 7 from 9pm, a week after the Islanders have left the Majorca villa.

Who are the final couples?

Four couples have made it to the Love Island 2022 final after Paige Thorne and Adam Collard were dumped last night. The remaining couples are:

  • Davide Sanclimenti and Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu
  • Gemma Owen and Luca Bish
  • Indiyah Polack and Dami Hope
  • Tasha Ghouri and Andrew Le Page
