With the fallout from Casa Amor leaving some of the couples rethinking their recent behaviour, Love Island continues to deliver drama. Sources working on the hit ITV2 show have said filming outside was cancelled due to inclement weather, leaving the candidates stuck inside.
This is not the first time the ITV2 show has had weather issues, as heavy winds hampered production earlier this year at the start of filming for the winter series. “The weather in South Africa has been a nightmare over the past 24 hours," a show source revealed. Torrential rain meant that filming any scenes of the Islanders had to be halted as the production team waited for the bad weather to subside.
The Islanders were shut away in the villa while the storm passed. “It isn’t ideal for the producers as what viewers want to see is the sexy stars in their bikinis lounging by the pool – not sitting around inside," the source told The Sun.

The source added that the storm passed and the weather forecast is looking far more promising for the next few days. Meanwhile, Love Island fans will see Martin's less than impressed reaction to Tanya's declaration of love for Shaq last night.
In Tuesday's instalment, Tanya tells Shaq: “I’m so sorry it took someone else coming in for me to fully realise that I can’t lose you.” Martin says: “I look like an idiot in front of everyone," as he catches up with Olivia and Maxwell to discuss how he’s feeling in light of Tanya’s admission.
As Martin heads over to Tanya and Shaq he says: “Tanya, can we have a chat? Shaq, you know I have no problems with you, it’s all good.” Tanya and Martin head to the fire pit as he says: “When I was speaking to you, you never told me you were a liar. You’re not sincere, you made me look like I was dumb, you’re a liar.”
“Is that what you had to get off your chest?” Tanya asks but the Love Island spoiler hints there could be more that needs to be said between the pair.
