Love Island fans think they've worked out why Gemma Owen continues to share a bed with Davide Sanclimenti while Luca Bish sleeps alone downstairs.
Gemma was coupled up with Luca before newcomer Danica Taylor decided she wanted to be paired up with the fishmonger. Her decision split him and Gemma and leaving Michael Owen's daughter having to find a new beau.
Luca admitted he was "gutted" but declared it would "make [he and Gemma] stronger". Gemma then chose to recouple with Davide, putting her in a twosome with the Italian native for the second time this series. Luca was clearly unhappy with the situation.

In the days that have followed, Luca and Gemma have continued to act as a couple, with the exception of their sleeping arrangements. For three nights running, Luca has opted to sleep downstairs, away from Danica.
However, Gemma has shared her bed with Davide - despite telling Luca she would join him downstairs. Some Love Island fans think Luca is being "mugged off"
Taking to Twitter, Adri Devries said: "I reckon Gemma is making the choice not to sleep with Luca coz he's being too much for her" [sic]. Jamie said: "Luca is massively mugging himself off, get back in the bedroom son".
However, others think they know the real reason. Deets28 said: "Gemma is not allowed to sleep in the other bed with Luca! In the other series' they slept outside, not in the house".
Kenn said: "Apparently (according to past islanders) Gemma likely isn’t allowed to sleep in the dog house. She’d only be able to sleep with Luca if they were outside, I feel like they should make that clear because people are seeing her as a cold b*** for sleeping with Davide".
