Love Island fans ave already predicted contestant Gemma Owen's potential match after a new twist saw them playing Cupid with this year's line-up.
The series kicks off tonight on ITV2 and Michael Owen's daughter Gemma, 19, is among the singletons - leaving fans to speculate over who they think should couple up with.
And they may not be wrong, as for the first time fans can steer the course of contestants love interests as they vote on the Love Island app.
Meanwhile Gemma, a Great Britain dressage rider, says it gives her the edge on competing adding: "When it comes to relationships I will always go for what I want."
“But at the same time, I’m not going to mess up something for someone who is in a proper relationship or get in the way of a couple if they have a genuine connection."
But the majority of fans think Gemma will be paired up with Brighton lad Luca Bish who has just called time on a four year relationship.
The soon-to-be reality TV star has revealed that he is going into the ITV2 dating show with a "whatever happens, happens" attitude.
One fan wrote on Twitter."My spidey senses telling me Luca is going to go for Gemma idk why but I feel it."
Another added: "Predicted Couple: Luca and Gemma. #LoveIsland Slight age difference but that's irrelevant. Luca is a down to earth guy and that's what Gemma needs. Someone who is grounded; driven and could be totally committed to her. I think Luca is good for her."
And a third wrote: "A boy with patience would be ideal for Gemma as she can have a tough exterior at first but can have a soft centre once a guy gets to know her. My predicted boy: Luca."
Last week the show's Iain Stirling dropped a massive show twist telling Christine Lampard on Lorraine's show the altered format for this year's competition.
He said: "This year, for the first year ever, we want you guys at home to play cupid. You will have your say on which boy couples up with which girl.
"All you have to do is go to the Love Island app right now. The poll is live right now and will close again tomorrow at 9am."
He added: "It's a fantastic poll where you get to decide who's getting coupled up with who."
The eighth series launches tonight and will air Monday-Friday and Sundays at 9pm. Sign up to the Mirror's Love Island newsletter to stay on top of all of the latest news.
