As Love Island draws to a close, Love Island fans believe they've figured out a theory that will reveal who the 2022 winners are. So far the theory has proven to be right six times. Love Island has been dominating TV screens across the UK for the past eight weeks and is drawing to a close on Monday, August 1.
Only four couples are left, Davide Sanclimenti and Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu, Andrew Le Page and Tasha Ghouri, Dami Hope and Indiyah Polack, and Luca Bish and Gemma Owen who you can read more about here, who battling it to be crowned Love Island 2022 winners.
Many fans believe they will be able to guess who the winning couple are before it is announced on the show, as The Scottish Sun reports. Viewers have looked back at past champions and said the couple who stands on presenter Laura Whitmore's left during the big reveal will be crowned the winners.

Last year was no exception when Welsh winner Liam Reardon and his former girlfriend Millie Court won, as they were standing to the left of Laura.. The theory even worked for the first winter series of the show, which saw Finley Tapp and Paige Turley take home the £50k, as they also stood to the left of Laura.
The pattern repeated itself in series four when Dani Dyer and Jack Fincham were crowned winners, in 2017 when another Welsh winner Amber Davies and Kem Cetinay won, and in series two when Cara De La Hoyde and Nathan Massey won.
The theory has only been proven wrong once in 2019 when Amber Gill and Greg O'Shea won, which was also a surprise as they had only been together 12 days after Amber's rocky journey in the villa. Now viewers will be watching to see who will win Love Island 2022 and if they will split the £50,000 prize money.
