In one of the most dramatic romances of the series, which saw Jacques O'Neill dramatically quit the Love Island villa yet promised to wait for Welsh paramedic Paige Thorne, fans have now spotted he may not be waiting for her anymore. Paige and Jacques had a rollercoaster of a relationship, remaining together in the villa for weeks before Jacques kissed and got to know other girls during Casa Amour.
Once the truth came out about Jacques' behaviour during Casa Amour the couple worked to get their relationship back on track however the introduction of new bombshell Adam Collard began to slow their progress as Paige got to know Adam. After admitting he wasn't feeling himself in the villa Jacques quit but promised to wait for Paige on the outside.
Since Jacques' dramatic exit Paige has gone on to become exclusive with Adam and fans have spotted signs Jacques may no longer be waiting for her. Eagle-eyed fans have noticed that Jacques has deleted all traces of Paige from his Instagram.
While Jacques was in the show his family members and friends who ran his social media for him regularly posted pictures of him and Paige. Now the only photos from Love Island that remain are of Jacques with his friends in the villa and none remain of Paige.
Fans took to Twitter to point out her absence. One said: “Anyone else noticed Jacques deleted all of his insta posts with Paige.”
Another added: “Oh s*** Jacques really just deleted all the pics he had with Paige. guess he ain’t picking her up.” A third said: “Jacques has deleted all of Paige’s photos off insta. He’s done with her.”
Jacques has not made any statement on his social media regarding the deleted posts and Paige's friends running her Instagram account are also yet to comment.
