TikTok star Will Young has made it into this year’s Love Island Villa and he’s definitely not hiding in the background. The young farmer is famous on TikTok for his hilarious farming videos, but he hasn't had the easiest time in the villa so far and has ended up as the single contestant on the show.
And after the first two episodes, fans seem split over Will, with some saying he has to go, and others wanting him to stay claiming he's the 'only one with a personality'.
But viewers have voiced their concerns that Will is going to become this year’s version of Hugo Hammond or Dr Alex and end up in multiple friend relationships instead of finding love. Previous seasons have seen the typical “nice guys” like Dr Alex and Hugo find themselves in the friend zone almost instantly.

With 1.2 million followers on his TikTok page, it’s surprising none of the girls have had their heads turned for the sweet guy, but there may be a reason why.
While Will is one of the biggest characters to have walked into the villa so far this year, with a brilliant sense of humour and a carefree attitude, never taking himself too seriously, he seems to struggle when it comes to the girls. Flirting doesn’t seem to be his strong point and some viewers think he comes across as awkward when interacting with the girls.
People on Twitter have been having their say on what they think about the situation, and even Love Island host Maya Jama threw her thoughts out there, “Obsessed with Will but omgg.”
Many have been speaking out in support of Will with people like @BeySirens saying “Will is my favourite islander idc.”
While others say while he’s a sweet guy the villa just isn’t the right place for sweet guys like him, as @roboskiskix said “he’s so lovely, the girls in love island aren’t the girls that will gel with his personality.
Another supporter, @CrusaderOfJager said “...Someone give him a chance! He’s just not suited for this show I fear. He doesn’t have the heart for it.”
Whether you like Will or find him too cringe to watch, after the events of last night’s show we could be saying goodbye to the young farmer at the end of the week. Only time will tell if new bombshell Zara will take a liking to the villa’s goofball Will.
