Tonight saw the remaining Love Island couples go on their final dates of the competition - one of the last tasks before the meet the parents instalment, which normally marks almost the end of ITV's foremost dating programme.
The first couple to be whisked off onto their date was Ron and Lana, who were treated to a beautiful South African choir performance in a luscious forested setting, complete with a stream flowing beneath their feet.
The date itself was a breakfast meal eaten at a quaintly laid table framed with purple and yellow flowers in the middle of a softly-flowing stream. It sounds romantic to most, but many viewers of tonight's show saw it as a serious downgrade when compared to previous series, or even a =Ferrari themed date from later on in the episode.

The duo were treated to pancakes and orange juice, with Ron gushing about his love for them. Lana came back stating she'd "make him lots" when they were out of the villa, adding: "Like I said, I'll be much more... giving."
"The word is loving", joked Ron as the two dangled their feet in the cooling waters underneath them.
The theme was not to everyone's liking, however, with many viewers saying they'd be annoying if they had to dine "in a swamp". Of course, Twitter users took to their phones and keyboards to reply in typically witty fashion:
One user said: "Eating a pile of pancakes up to your ankles in a swamp being eaten alive by mosquitoes isn’t my idea of a perfect date. #LoveIsland"
Another compared it to a well-known swamp dweller:
Another added: "Lana and Ron literally sat having lunch with their feet in a swamp #loveisland"
Others shared the fact they thought they choice of dates weren't exactly equal: "Tom & Sammie get a car ride into some castle but Lana & Ron get dinner in the swamp what #loveisland"
Throughout the date the couple approached the topic of meeting each other's parents, to which Ron said: "My mum will adore you!" For Lana it was a much more affecting affair, as she started to well up, adding: "Talking about my mum makes me emotional."
