Love Island fans hit out at Dami Hope during Wednesday's instalment of the show after he instructed Davide Sanclimenti to give the villa's two new female bombshells a guided tour.
Viewers questioned Dami's motive for nominating Davide over singleton Deji Adeniyi - believing it was a deliberate act aimed at causing friction between the Italian and his partner Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu, who are favourites to win this year.
Islanders were excited to see the arrival of the new girls Lacey Edwards, 25 and Nathalie Loglo, 23, along with their male counterparts Jamie Allen, 27 and Reece Ford, 23.
More sensibly, perhaps, the villa's only single girl Danica Taylor got to know the new boys as she showed them around - again on Dami's instruction.
"Davide do you want to give them a tour? Maybe just the girls," said Dami as the newbies got acquainted with the existing contestants.
"And Danica will give you boys a tour," he continued, taking charge as a bemused Ekin-Su looked on.
Disgruntled fans took to Twitter immediately after the show to voice their displeasure at Dami's apparent dirty tactics.
"Dami wonders why we don't like him and then pulls THIS S**T? Dude set up the single boy not Davide," commented one user.
Another wrote: "Dami is so nasty. He did that to stir s**t up with Ekin and Davide. He also did it to spite Deji and make Deji feel s**t. GET THAT B*****D OUT NOW."
A third questioned: "Why is Dami telling Davide to give the girls a tour when single Deji is sat there?!"
And a fourth said: "Dami what the f**k ? Getting Danica to show the boys fairs, but Davide who's happy in a couple? Deji is right there single, he could do the tour. I hate this man, get him out."
Dami could well get his way as at the end of the episode new girl Nathalia appeared to test the water with her host.
Up on the terrace, Davide was quizzed on how the couples were in the villa - with newcomer Lacey stating that it seemed like all couples were quite strong together, with the self-described Italian stallion admitting everyone was.
However, in the next breath, he admitted that everyone seemed strong before Casa Amor happened - "and you know what happened at Casa Amor", he added, prompting speculation he could have his head turned.
