Love Island fans believe they have worked out which of the current couples could be axed ahead of the final, after the public were asked to cast their vote.
The race to find the winners of this year’s show got personal on Friday as the contestants separated into their couples to discuss the state of the other relationships.
It comes just days before the grand final on August 1 where one of the remaining five couples will be crowned the winners of Love Island 2022 and take home the £50,000 prize.
Ekin-Su Culculoglu and Davide Sanclimenti were voted least compatible alongside Gemma Owen and Luca Bish, Tasha Ghouri and Andrew Le Page, and Paige Thorne and Adam Collard – putting them all at risk after nearly eight weeks of the ITV dating show.
Indiyah and Dami were the only couple to not receive votes, meaning they are safe and will participate in the final.
However, Love Island fans now believe Adam and Paige will be the pair sent packing after an apparent hint in the final episode of Love Island’s Unseen Bits.
In one clip, the couples were seen gathering to talk on the bean bags and as the Islanders chatted, viewers noticed that Adam was sat on the notorious yellow bean bag.
This series has seen the Islanders obsess over the piece of garden furniture, with many of the boys and girls refusing to sit on the beanbag, as they're convinced it is cursed.
A montage of clips has previously been shown, proving just how scared the Islanders are of the yellow beanbag – with the apparent exception of the Newcastle personal trainer.
Taking to Twitter after the clip aired, one fan wrote: “Adams just sat on the yellow bean bag I BEG hunnybuns is leaving,” as another wrote: “Seeings as Adam’s on the yellow bean bag, what’s the betting him and Paige are the ones to leave tomorrow?”
“ADAM IS SAT ON THE YELLOW BEANBAG I REPEAT ADAM SAT ON THE YELLOW BEANBAG,” another tweeted.
A fellow fan wrote: “Adam sat on the yellow bean bag, Adam and Paige are not making the final.”
Towards the end of Friday's episode, the remaining five pairs were told that they had to decide who they think are the two least compatible couples.
Following final dates, Indiyah received an explosive text message which she read out to the rest of the group.
The Islanders looked shocked as they learned they had to vote for who they thought were the two least compatible couples.
Davide and Ekin-Su, Andrew and Tasha, Luca and Gemma, Dami and Indiyah and Adam and Paige had to deliberate in their couples and submit their decisions by text without discussing it with the other couples.
Davide and Ekin-Su received the most at a total of four, as each of their fellow couples claimed they are the least compatible.
Love Island airs every night at 9pm on ITV2 and ITV Hub.
