Tonight's episode of Love Island had the boys competing in the 'Ladiators' challenge, and an unexpected incident led to a confrontation between Olivia and Samie. Fans have sided with Samie and blasted Olivia for stirring up 'unnecessary drama'.
'Ladiators' saw the boys battle it out, picking a girl of their choosing, carrying her across the course, and finishing off the challenge with a kiss. Samie's new love interest Tom, who was once interested in Olivia, picked her for the challenge. After he claimed to have kissed Ellie, Tom's relationship with Olivia turned sour.
During the challenge, Olivia gets angry and wonders whether the two have a "issue" after Samie accidentally splashed water on her during the challenge. Olivia's expression was one of shock when the water splashed her. "Were you trying to soak me? I see, no worries I see," she exclaimed.

Following the incident, fans quickly took to Twitter, with many believing Olivia reacted badly. One said: "They’re finally seeing that Olivia is problematic! #loveisland." A second said: "Olivia most of the problems in the villa start with you…get the hint." A third joked: "If you sneezed, Olivia will swear its connected to her somehow."
Another claimed: "Sooo all the guys have been pouring water on the girls and no one complained as soon as Sammie does it too Olivia , there’s now a problem."
Later, when the Islanders arrived back at the villa, Samie was discussing the challenge with Tanyel and Lana. Tanyel said: "How are you feeling about... when you accidently poured the whole thing on her." Samie quickly responded: "But it was just a game, if she's pissed off at that then that's f****** ridiculous, I'm sorry.
"She is creating friction over nothing, I would of done that if anyone was standing there, its not personal."
In yesterday's episode, fans already began to spot tension in the friendship after Samie revealed a comment Olivia made to Tanyel while they were chatting on the daybeds. Samie was asking how Tanyel was feeling after the dramatic dumping of Spencer the night before. Tanyel insisted she was 'fine' which prompted Samie to ask: "Have you spoken to Liv at all?'. Hinting that something has been said behind her back.
Tanyel said she hadn't and Samie filed her in: "She made a couple of comments last night. Before you left the room, obviously we were joking around, saying like f***ing hell, bring someone in for me. That was funny but then Liv turned around and was like 'Spencer's not even out of the door and she's like already talking about a new guy coming in'."
Following that conversation, fans took to Twitter convinced there was tension between Samie and Olivia. One viewer wrote: "I love that Samie told Tanyel what Olivia said. I rate Samie, such a real one #LoveIsland."
Another added: "Love how Samie told Tanyel about Olivia’s comments behind her back." A third said: "Samie is a real one for telling Tanyel what Olivia said because she was not going to get away with that."
