Love Island fans raged at Sammy Root and Tyrique Hyde as Dennis Wise's daughter Amber was left in floods of tears following the boys’ snakey antics.
During Tuesday night’s episode of the ITV2 dating show, the love triangle between Sammy, Amber and fellow newcomer Gabby Jeffrey came to an explosive head, with one of the girls devastated at being gaslighted.
Sammy, 22, has been in demand after Casa Amor returned to turn the villa upside down, with both Gabby, 24, and Amber, 19, fighting for his affections.
Struggling to pick between the girls, the floppy haired hunk spoke to Tyrique, who unwisely advised him to kiss both of them to decide who he liked the most.
"I'm not saying lips one tonight bro, I'm saying lips both of them tonight bro," he said.
Getting “clarity” on which girl he preferred, Sammy called Amber over for a chat by the sofas, and they quickly began kissing.
She went back to the girls after the snog, and began telling them how much she liked him, but moments later, was stunned to see Sammy calling Gabby over to the sofas and kissing her too.
Amber broke down in tears, and told Molly she was “mugged off” over Sammy’s alleged betrayal, which left her humiliated.
Viewers were furious with the boys, and took to social media to blast Sammy - and Tyrique - for manipulating poor Amber.
“Sammy and Tyrique are such sleazes for this plot on Amber vs Gabi,” one tweeted.
“No Sammy is sick because Amber was literally begging him not to kiss another girl and then he went and b-lined for another girl to kiss,” another fumed.
“How can Tyrique be telling sammy to kiss amber and gabi on the same day, is he normal?” one bemused viewer asked.
While another suggested that Sammy was using the girls to impress Tyrique.
“Sammy is proof that men will always try to please another man before the women they like. Amber said three times he better not be kissing others and yet he he still followed what ty told him to,” they fired.
“Why did Sammy even kiss Amber it was clear he weren't feeling her at all. It's like he took advantage. Don't like that,” another raged.
The snogging saga failed to impress many fans, and they were left disappointed in Sammy’s behaviour, with many pleading with Amber to focus her attention on another hunk in the villa.
“What the hell is so great about Sammy? All the girls fawning over him, Amber crying. He’s a douchebag. Don’t waste your tears on him girl!” one wrote.
