Love Island fans predict Molly will return to the villa after show's most savage dumping

Love Island fans predict Molly will return to the villa after her shock dumping on Friday night.

The islanders were gobsmacked when the 21-year-old theatre star from Doncaster was told she would be leaving the ITV2 show.

Bosses dropped the huge news in a text which Molly read out after new bombshell Kady McDermott chose to couple up with Zach.

That meant Molly was now single, but instead of getting the chance to couple up with someone else, she was informed she had been dumped from the island with immediate effect.

Even though she was put in there to cause trouble, a shocked Kady told Molly: “Oh my God, I’m so sorry.”

In a classic Love Island move, the episode swiftly ended so fans will have to wait until Sunday night to see what happens next.

But some viewers were quick to take to Twitter to say they didn't think it was the end for Molly – and that she might turn up again in Casa Amor week.

“#LoveIsland sent Molly home like they aren’t gonna bring her break... side eyee,” one wrote.

A second said: “In my opinion they should get Molly to come back during Casa Amor and join the original girls. They when they do the recouple Zach can see her again #LoveIsland.”

“Molly putting that acting degree to WORK. I don’t believe for a second this is the last we see of her. This season of LI is going for a BAFTA. I can feel it," a third tweeted.

An extra eagle-eyed fan gave this insight: “If Molly was actually dumped her highlight on the Love Island Instagram page would have a coloured filter over her face like the rest of the dumped Islanders #LoveIsland.”

Others speculated she would be ‘hidden’ somewhere in a ‘secret villa’ or ‘secret room’.

One said: “So I unfortunately believe this is a ploy for producers to make Molly the viewers’ favourite by keeping her hidden somewhere and making her watch Zach crack on... please nobody fall for it if it’s true #LoveIsland.”

“She’s defo going into a secret villa or will return for Casa. They ain’t dumping her out ffs lol,” another wrote.

Before Friday night’s episode of Love Island cut to the credits, Molly looked as if she was about to cry after hearing the shock news.

Zach, who she has been cracking on with since the beginning, also appeared gobsmacked as he was forced to recouple with new girl Kady.

Fiery Kady appeared in the second series of Love Island, where she finished in third place with then-boyfriend Scott Thomas.

Back on the show again, the 27-year-old beauty also appeared to turn the heads of boys Mitchel and Tyrique, much to the girls’ dismay.

Ahead of her dramatic re-entry, Kady said she was still a “fiery pocket rocket” but now she’s older is looking for someone to settle down and have marriage and kids with.

She said: “Not many people can say they’ve been on Love Island, let alone have done it twice.

“I think I’m known from season 2 for being so chaotic. People always ask, ‘Do you have regrets?’ expecting me to say yes, but I was so true to myself. I was 100% authentic.”

Asked what kind of man she was looking for now, Kady said: “The next person I’m with, I want that to be marriage and babies.

“I don’t want to waste any more time with the wrong people, so I think I’ll be a lot pickier than what I was previously in the villa.”
