Love Island fans were left unimpressed with the latest episode of the ITV2 dating show as the loved up couples shared a romantic brunch together in the villa.
The ITV2 reality dating show returned with another explosive episode this week as the winter series gets well underway with new host Maya Jama.
Love Island has seen multiple romances blossom in the past days as the Islanders mark nearly two weeks since they walked into the South African villa.
It was a new day in the villa on Thursday night after bombshells Ellie Spence and Spencer Wilks dramatically entered the show ahead of a recoupling.
The bombshells were given the chance to get to know their new partners over a breakfast date by the pool in the villa garden, as they enjoyed fresh fruit and pastries at individual tables.
Things turned sweet for Tom Clare and Zara Lackenby-Brown as they fed each other fruit off a skewer.
Meanwhile, the original couple Shaq Muhammad and Tanya Manhenga, who have faced few bumps in the road, talked about love.
Shaq said: “I can see us having a relationship on the outside, I wanna know every little thing about you, everything.”
Taya replied: “I just can’t wait to be like, 'That’s my boyfriend'”,” and he told her: “I like the way that sounds, that sounds good.”

While the Love Island couples were in bliss in the villa, ITV2 viewers were less impressed with the episode, as many dubbed it ‘boring’.
Taking to Twitter, one wrote: “Let’s skip to casa amor and see how stable these couples are since they’re throwing the L word around.”
Another added: “This episode had so much promise with bombshells choosing first but it’s been dead half way through recoupling.”
“These frauds need to slow down…” a third wrote as another added: “These couples are just liars. I don’t trust any of them.”
Another wondered: “This is week 1 and a bit yeah? What’s the actual rush?”
Fellow viewers were left certain it was time for the producers to speed up Casa Amor after the sappy scenes so early in the show.
One tweeted: “Nah it’s time for Casa Amour idc,” as a second wrote: “I can hear the rumblings of casa amor, it’ll either be today or tomorrow i GUARANTEE.”
“ROLL ON CASA AMOR where shaq cheats on tanya because he had to “test the connection”,” a third added.
Love Island airs every night at 9pm on ITV2 and ITV Hub.
