Love Island fans gobsmacked as Josh 'grabs' Summer's neck during first kiss

Love Island fans were a bit taken aback as they tuned into Thursday's episode and witnessed Josh Samuel Le Grove and Summer Botwe's first kiss.

Following the latest recoupling, in which the boys had the chance to choose, Josh and Summer found themselves paired up and they wasted no time in getting intimate.

As they enjoyed some alone time in the garden, Josh told Summer: "It will be nice to chill with you a bit more," to which she replied: "A little pillow talk! Are you excited to sleep in a bed with me?"

Josh quickly asked: "Do you snore? Do you fidget?"

Summer reassured him that she doesn't do either of those things in bed, but he continued probing her.

"Are you more of a public affection person?" he asked as she replied: "Sometimes I don't mind, but there's like a time and a place sometimes."

"Relax!" he told her as he leaned in for a kiss, but viewers were concerned about his hands being on Summer's neck.

"Summer and that lad constantly talking in American accents is annoying as f*ck! #LoveIsland," one said.

Another tweeted: "Please-o! Can we retire these American accents #loveIsland," while a third added: "No these American accents have taken over the villa please STOP #LoveIsland."

Love Island continues at 9pm on ITV2 and ITV Hub.
