Love Island fans went wild last night after Luca finally called Gemma out with a savage dig over her not receiving enough attention.
Bombshells Remi and Jay caused mayhem and ruffled some feathers as they pursued the women in the villa - which included some secret kisses on the terrace.
During their first day in the villa, the pair were tasked with choosing three girls to prepare their starter, main course and dessert.
International dressage rider Gemma was the only girl not be asked by the pair to go on a date and she watched from the balcony along with the boys.
It was a change for Gemma as earlier on in the show she had seen attention from Liam, Davide and fishmonger Luca, who she is now coupled up with.
Luca seemingly addressed this, as the pair sat down for a chat.
Getting the ball rolling, Gemma said: “You’ve probably noticed I am being a little bit off the last day. What initially attracted me to you is that you didn’t give a sh*t.
The daughter of ex footballer Michael Owen went on: "But I’ve seen a different side to you, which I do like but I don’t want to feel that’s us two married off now and that’s it.”
Luca replied: "Why are we married off? Because two boys have come in here and not given you attention?"
However Gemma denied her feelings were to do with the new arrivals.
Appearing to think about Gemma's remarks, Luca said: “Listen we both like each other... We will see how it goes.”
Viewers were quick to jump on Luca's remark, with one person saying on Twitter : "I’m so over the luca and gemma show but omfg when he was like “oh you’re just mad cuz the two new boys didn’t give you attention” IM WHEEZING."
Another person wrote: "Lol love that Luca called out Gemma so perfectly at her being mardy about the fact the other boys ignored her. She is not used to being overlooked."
A third viewer simply wrote: "Cause two boys came in and gave you no attention?" LUCAAA."
However, some weren't fans of Luca's behaviour, with one claiming it shows how "insecure" he is about the relationship.
One viewer penned on Twitter: "That whole Gemma and Luca conversation definitely demonstrated her maturity as a 19 year old.
"Mans didn’t even address his clinginess and blamed it on her not getting attention from the new guys, yet she was happy with the conversation?! Couldn’t be me."
Another wrote "Cuz 2 boys come in and not give u any attention" luca was wrong for that, he really needs to work on how insecure he is about him and gemma bc it comes out in the worst ways ."
However, another viewer said they thought Luca's response was a good sign, writing: "Luca is not blinded, he sees Gemma’s less flattering attributes, he could have easily been irritated & it would be understandable but he isn’t, he accepts all of her. He gets her; flaws & all. It was true Gemma was acting up Bcoz she wasn’t mentioned by the new guys."
