Love Island fans go wild over Ekin Su's ‘iconic’ Ronan Keating reference to son Jack as he was booted out of villa

Love Island fans went wild after Ekin-Su made a cheeky reference to Ronan Keating as his son Jack was booted out of the villa this week.

It was a tense night in the Love Island villa, as Casa Amor came to an end with an explosive recoupling.

And while there were many shocks and surprise choices throughout the night, it was a one-liner by series favourite Ekin-Su that stole the show.

After failing to find love in the villa this week, 23-year-old Jack, who is the eldest son of the Boyzone singer, was sent packing again, just four days after entering.

But before making his exit, viewers couldn’t help but laugh at Ekin Su’s parting words to the Dubliner.

Quoting his dad’s hit tune, the Turkish actress said: “Life is a rollercoaster.”

Fans hailed the islander's comedic streak, with one saying: “Ekin Su sending Jack off with “life is a rollercoaster” is iconic behaviour.”

Another said: “Ekin Su hugged Jack goodbye and said ‘life is a rollercoaster...’ & that’s why her & Davide have to win they’re both too funny.”

A third agreed, adding: “Life is a rollercoaster” Ekin Su saying bye to Jack Keating. My favourite line so far.”

Unlike Gemma, Jack wasn’t shy about letting the islanders know about his famous dad, dropping a hilarious line about the singer himself on his first night of the show.

Stunned dad Ronan laughed off the moment, saying: 'He did drop the line that I was retired, that I was shocked about! I nearly fell off me chair! What? I'm doing The One Show next week, I'm in York tonight! No I'm definitely not retired!'

Meanwhile, the doting dad admitted he was nervous for Jack whilst he was in there.

"He was very quiet, he seemed a little bit nervous which is understandable I guess.

"I hope he does okay. He's got such a big heart and he's a real softie. I worry about him in there with all those other guys.

"We miss him about the house," he added.

Less than a week after entering the famous villa, Jack is already on his way back home to his famous family in London.

But he assured fans he has no regrets about his time on the show whilst admitting that leaving so soon was "bittersweet".

"It's bittersweet to be honest. I had a great time there - I met some great guys and it was nice getting to know the girls. It just went up a bit too fast. As we were getting into it, it wrapped up. But I had a really great time, a great couple of days so no complaints!

He added: "I definitely stayed true to myself. It was great! I went in there and was myself and I wore my heart on my sleeve and I have no regrets - I absolutely loved it."
