Love Island fans were left fuming at Gemma Owen's mum as she was criticised for "not going far enough" with issuing a warning to Luca Bish.
The 19 year old has been coupled up with Luca since the beginning of the series and the pair appear to be closer than ever.
But over recent weeks, viewers have been left concerned and accused Luca of displaying "controlling behaviour" towards Gemma - more recently storming out of the villa after he and Gemma rowed.
During the penultimate episode of the show, viewers watched as Luca's parents and Gemma's mum Louise and friend Sarah entered the villa.
Louise referred to the air hostess challenge, during which Luca was left fuming after Gemma licked Adam even though - in Luca's own words - it was just a game.
While Louise told her daughter that she didn't do anything wrong, she said that she had wanted the pair to couple up at the beginning.
Fans were later left cringing after Louise said that Luca was a Michael Owen lookalike.
"It's all over social media that Luca looks like your dad," she said.
But viewers were surprised that Louise didn't say any more after speaking out about the uncomfortable scenes where Luca, 23, and 26-year-old Dami pied Tasha in the Snog, Marry Pie challenge.
She shared a comment under a post of the moment Tasha asked Andrew Le Page to be her boyfriend on Instagram and wrote: "I hope Tasha is ok, I feel it's close to bullying now which is so sad to see."
Taking to Twitter, one viewer wrote: "She should've brought up Luca's disgusting behaviour towards Tasha all season... she tweeted about it, she should've said it with chest..."
While another commented: "Really wish Gemma’s mum had done what indiyahs mum did."
A third wrote: "Ngl kinda disappointed that Gemma’s mum didn’t go in there and say she doesn’t like Luca lol."
