Love Island was back on Tuesday night, as we got a slice of the juicy drama since the first bombshell Zachariah Noble entered the villa in Mallorca following Monday's explosive start to series 10 when Maya Jama hinted there would be a twist this year.
Rather than the islanders choosing who they would like to couple up with, it was in the hands of the public who this year's fresh-faced contestants would be matched with and one of those was Molly Marsh, 21 and Mitchel Taylor, 26.
The pair looked like a match made in heaven as they coincidentally were both wearing matching red swimwear for the opening episode, which did leave some ITV viewers to speculate that the show was a "set up" as they took to Twitter.
And following Tuesday's second episode, fans of the show were left very split over the couples blossoming romance which seems to be going at a very quick pace having shared a kiss in bed on the first night.
People took to Twitter amid the episode airing, as they spotted that Molly was "trying too hard" to be the next Molly-Mae, who became famous for her appearance on the series with her heavyweight boxing champion boyfriend Tommy Fury and now have their first child together Bambi.
Some fans of the show believe they have "cashed in" on how popular the duo were during their stint on the show, with Molly also taking in a 'comfort teddy' similar to Molly-Mae when she took in her beloved Ellie Bellie elephant ted which became a major tear-jerker.
One person wrote on Twitter: "So is it compulsory for every blonde to bring in a teddy? #LoveIsland bit of a Molly-Mae wannabe I think."
"kiss on the first night is crazy #LoveIsland," wrote one viewer as someone else added: "Kissing in bed on the first night? Be fr #LoveIsland."
A fourth quipped: "Mitchell is doing too much and trynna achieve dat 50k #LoveIsland," as someone else wrote: "nothing feels authentic anymore. 2019 was really the peak now there’s at least one couple that claim they have a ‘strong connection’ by day 2… yeah I’m not falling for it and also the wannabe ellie bellies are killing me #LoveIsland."
However some viewers are all for the romance, as another fan wrote: "Awww!!!! Molly and Mitch are giving Molly and Tommy vibes already and I AM HEREE for it."
Meanwhile, it seems Mitchel will have some hard competition ahead as new bombshell Zach has made a move on Molly whilst fellow co-star George has also shown his interest towards her.
"I got a connection with Mitch straight away and I have ran with it but of course I want to get to know everyone," she told bombshell Zach. Zach makes me feel very zen, but I don't think I could speak to him for over an hour I think 'right now I need a laugh'," Molly said in the beach hut after saying she thought he was very mature.
George complimented Molly's eyes and made his feelings clear that he would be interested in keeping chatting to her.
"I said earlier I would definitely like to talk to you and Zach more," Molly said.
Love Island continues on ITV2 and ITVX each weeknight at 9pm.
