Love Island fans were all saying the same thing on Thursday night, after tuning in to see a mystery row unfold.
Wednesday's episode had ended with a preview that revealed Jess would be storming off in tears following a chat with Catherine.
No context was given for the apparent row, leading many viewers to think there was drama awaiting them in the next episode.
All that was known was that Catherine would speak to Jess about her "whispering" about someone.
Jess suddenly started crying and refused to have the conversation, before she stormed off in the clip.
In the actual scenes, it didn't seem as dramatic as viewers thought it would be, and in fact fans were confused what was going on.
It seemed to escalate out of nowhere, and then suddenly it was over - with fans not really knowing what it was actually about, and even questioning if some scenes were cut.
Catherine and Whitney brought up that Jess seemed to have an issue with Molly, given the comments she's recently made - so they were surprised when she unexpectedly said Tyrique was "two-faced" over Molly in the challenge.
A comment made after she did this left the girls believing Jess wanted to pick Molly but didn't.
Jess defended her actions and said she didn't think that way about Molly, even downplaying any drama between them.
It's then that Catherine mentioned the whispers and the comments going on towards Molly, to which Jess claimed: "No one is whispering though."
As Catherine said: "You was whispering," with Whitney backing her, Jess said: "I'm not falling out with anyone, I think it's been nipped in the bud now."
Eventually Jess shouted: "I don't wanna have this conversation no more. Sorry, cos it's winding me up."
As the girls questioned why it was upsetting her she burst into tears and stormed off, with the girls following her.
Speaking in the Beach Hut, Jess said: "I get it, I get it, but what is it to do with them? If anyone should have a problem it should be Molly."
Then Jess went back to the girls and called it a day as far as a row was concerned, asking to leave it at that.
Viewers were very confused over the whole thing, as the drama didn't seem that much - while the little drama there was happened out of nowhere.
Taking to Twitter, one fan said: "that wasn't even an argument and jess ran off crying? everyone was talking so calmly?"
Another fan said: "That’s it? THATS THE ARGUMENT?!" as a third wrote: "The first look made the argument heightened it wasn’t even that deep."
Others commented on the bizarre nature of the "row" with one fan commenting: "Well this argument was really bizarre."
A second fan said: "I feel like half of that argument was cut bc it doesn’t feel organic at all??" as a third said: "Whitney, Jess and Catherine’s argument made no sense let Jess be petty."
Another fan commented: "i am convinced love island producers tell the boys and girls to create fake drama or the season would be boring."
Love Island airs every night at 9pm on ITV2 and ITVX.
