Love Island fans were left cringing as all of the boys showed Chloe Burrows some love in a quiz task.
Tuesday’s episode saw those in the villa play a game to see how well those in each couple knew each other.
One of the questions that arose for the girls to guess about their boy was which person in the villa they would couple up with if they were not with their current partner.
In a rather painful twist for the rest of the girls, all of the boys picked the first bombshell Chloe Burrows.
There were a lot of side-glances from the girls, with Faye in particularly looking none too pleased.
Faye joked about getting Chloe out of the villa and complained about Chloe having her ego stroked.
A disgruntled Faye said: “She doesn’t need it but, hey, who am I to judge?”
Meanwhile, Chloe herself told the Beach Hut about how “awkward” that section of the task was.
Naturally, viewers at home could not contain their awkwardness and amusement at the drama being caused by the task and noted Faye’s displeasure at Chloe’s popularity.
One viewer penned: “Faye is seething at Chloe lmao she is so mad #LoveIsland ”.
A different fan wrote: “Omg all the boys wanna be with Chloe #LoveIsland
Meanwhile, another Love Island viewer commented: “Them all laughing about them all writing Chloe like it’s funny #LoveIsland #loveisland2021 ”.
Elsewhere, a different fan penned: “NOT EVERY BOY SAYING THEYD GET WITH CHLOE OH MY GOD #loveisland”.
“So they’re all basically saying they like Chloe more than the girls they’re coupled up with #LoveIsland,” tweeted one viewer.
A different Love Island viewer noted: “please why was that so awkward #LoveIsland ”.
However, events in the villa exploded when Hugo's disparaging remark about being "fake" as a turn-off in the quiz upset some of the girls in the villa, particularly Faye and Sharon.
Yet, some viewers suggested the irritation was more with Chloe's popularity.
One person wrote: "Them two were basically FUMING all the man wanted chloe and took it all out on Hugo #LoveIsland ".
A different viewer opined after the upset in the villa: "I understand why all the boys picked Chloe as an alternative coupling. Currently the most unproblematic and most mature tbf #LoveIsland ".
Finally, one viewer concluded: "i still can’t believe they all said they wanted to be coupled with chloe….i know that was awkward #LoveIsland ".
