Some Love Island fans have already said they won't be tuning in to watch tomorrow night's episode as a classic challenge is set to make a comeback. Every year, the producers behind the ITV2 reality show test the strength of the season's couples with a number of gruelling challenges, with one task particularly dividing viewers.
At the end of tonight's episode (March 7), long-time narrator Iain Sterling informed fans of the show, in his usual dramatic style, that the baby challenge will be returning tomorrow. The task sees couples get a rude awakening from baby dolls in cots, which wake them up by screaming one morning.
The islanders are then judged on their parenting skills after taking care of their pretend infant. The challenge may be hated by some viewers, but it has certainly provided its fair share of memorable moments over the years, with fans left in hysterics back in 2018 when Dr Alex George tripped and dropped his baby, and Josh Denzel pulled one of his child's arms off.

With some of the series nine couples having already discussed the possibility of starting a family together in the future, the challenge could make for some more hilarious scenes this year. A teaser shown at the end of tonight's episodes saw farmer Will Young and former Love Island Australia star Jessie Wynter sat in the Beach Hut, as Will cradled their baby and told the camera: "He loves daddy! He's a daddy's boy."
In other clips shown, other islanders could be seen reaching the end of their tether as the babies woke them up with their screaming. But it's not just this year's cast members that will be left irritated, as some fans of the show are not welcoming of the baby challenge's return.
After Iain's announcement at the end of tonight's show, fans ranted about the task on social media, asserting that they will not be watching tomorrow as the villa descends into chaos. Emma tweeted: "I hate the baby challenge with a passion."
Aside from the divisive teaser, tonight's episode saw viewers say goodbye to one couple after voting for their favourite pairing. In dramatic firepit scenes, Casey O'Gorman and Rosie Seabrook were sent home, with Tanya Manhenga and Shaq Muhammad, and Will and Jessie narrowly missing being dumped from the villa.
