Love Island fans blown away after finding out Davide's occupation and financial status

Love Island fans were left stunned following the revelation Davide Sanclimenti runs a shisha business that provides hookah products to restaurants and nightclubs.

The 'Italian Stallion', who was crowned this year's winner alongside partner Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu on Monday has rarely discussed his occupation and finances on air.

Davide's company 'S Deluxe Shisha' provides electronic devices from 'the best manufacturers in the world’ and offers catering services to venues across Manchester.

A mission statement on the company's website, meanwhile, reads: "S Deluxe Shisha is a premium service offered in some of the most exclusive hospitality venues located in North West, England.

"We have partnership with the most exclusive restaurants and nightclubs around the UK, carrying a wide selection of top quality hookah products in different shapes and sizes. We offer catering-service, with the highest quality of luxury electronic shisha and the purest French made e-liquids. High quality ingredients combined with the latest technology on the market."

Rumoured to be a self-made millionaire, Davide's LinkedIn profile adds that he has a masters degree in finance and banking.

Fans took to Twitter to discuss his profession with one commenting: "Davide owning a Shisha business is the last thing I expected."

Another wrote: "I just learnt that Davide is an entrepreneur owning a shisha business. This guy was always meant to have a Turkish wife. I’m convinced they’re soulmates. I can’t get over them two!"

A third pondered: "Davide owns a multimillion shisha company. I don't know if any of these people needed 50k."

And a fourth said: "I can't imagine him doing anything for a living? Like imagine Davide the plumber."

Monday night's instalment saw the tumultuous and drama-soaked journey of Davide and Ekin-Su end in glee as they jumped with joy as host Laura Whitmore announced they had won £50k.

The loved-up pair came out victorious after they went head to head with finalists Gemma Owen and Luca Bish.

Unlike in previous years, the winning couple did not have to choose whether to split or steal the prize money.

This comes after reports Ekin-Su and Gemma are both set for £1million paydays as the real winners of this year’s Love Island.

The glamorous pair have been earmarked as the biggest potential earners from the 2022 series, with brands queuing up to sign them.
