Welsh Love Islander Liam Llewellyn became the first to leave this year's series of the show after just five days, but he certainly made the most of his time on the show before his shock exit. Liam, 22, delivered some serious news to the rest of the group on Friday, June 10 and it shocked them all, as well as viewers.
The master's graduate in strength and conditioning from Newport, who is also the son of rugby legend David 'Dai' Llewellyn, had a rocky start to his time in the villa, which started when all the contestants entered on Sunday, June 5.
Liam was initially paired with Gemma Owen and was thrilled after confessing he fancied her, but that was until Italian stallion Davide galloped into camp and, during a risqué game of truth or dare, Gemma made it clear that she fancied Davide by planting a huge kiss on his lips.

Liam's dream start of being partnered with ex-footballer and pundit Michael Owen's daughter Gemma was dealt a crushing blow by being ousted by Davide, leaving Liam looking sad and viewers feeling sorry for the Welsh lad. But that didn't stop the 'quiet boy' of the villa making moves on all five women before his sudden departure from the island, because what viewers didn't see was what happened afterwards, when Liam 'necked on' with all five women - Gemma, Paige, Indiyah, Amber, and Tasha.
As reported by The Mirror, ITV2 viewers were left in disbelief as they tuned into Love Island Unseen Bits on Saturday night following his shock exit as producers aired all the behind-the-scenes action that was cut out of the hour-long episodes.
The Welsh student was asked to kiss the two girls he found most attractive during a truth or dare session, however, after some deliberation, he realised that he simply couldn't choose just two women - because he found them all 'so hot'.
So, being indecisive was to Liam's benefit as he made his way around the firepit passionately kissing each woman, and viewers on Twitter couldn't quite believe it. "Liam was a dark horse all along. That boy has got serious charm," one wrote. "OMG! Liam lipsing all five girls. Savage man," another echoed, and one obviously Welsh fan posted: "Little Liam knew what he was doing there. Fair play man".
Liam went on to explain his shock exit to his fellow islanders, saying after losing Gemma he didn't feel like he had quite 'gelled' with anyone else. He said: "I've been thinking long and hard about this, so yeah, I've made the decision that I am going to leave the villa. Obviously we all came here for the same sort of reason, but I haven't been giving 100 percent Liam. I know what 100 percent Liam is and I'm miles off that. Trying to find someone you leave the villa with that you love, that's the goal. But when you're not feeling that, it makes it a very hard sort of time to find that. I've been thinking long and hard, it isn't spur of the moment, so I've made a decision I'm going to leave the villa."
The moment to leave had many of his fellow islanders in tears as his parting comment was a special one just to them, saying: "You are all unreal. I've had an absolute ball."
Love Island started at 9pm Monday, June 6, on ITV2 and ITV Hub, with episodes available the following morning on BritBox. The show airs every weeknight and Sunday night at 9pm. On Saturdays, a regular episode is replaced by Love Island: Unseen Bits and the spin-off show, Love Island: Aftersun will air for the first time on Sunday, June, 12 at 10pm after the Sunday episode of Love Island.
