Love Island has catapulted many of its contestants to celebrity status.
The show first aired in 2015 – and ever since then viewers have gripped to their TV screens to watch the drama unfold.
But some of the stars who go on the show to fine love have since returned to their day jobs since leaving the famous villa.
Here we take a look at some of the former Love Islanders who returned to relative normality.
Dr Alex George
Who could forget Mr Nice Guy Dr Alex. An accident and emergency doctor by trade, Alex didn’t flinch an inch in returning to work after the show in 2018.
Commendably Alex worked on the NHS frontline to help combat COVID-19.
His efforts saw him recently be named the government’s Youth Mental Health Ambassador.
Alex is now hoping to become a GP, but he also makes regular appearances on TV shows as a medical expert.
Anna Vakili

In 2010 Anna left her job as a pharmacist to star series five of the show.
However, she also returned to help during the coronavirus pandemic and has often used her social media profile to raise awareness about the harrowing challenges doctors and nurse faced during the height of the crisis.
The 30-year-old star is now a popular social influencer with 1.2 million fans on Instagram.
Hitting back at her doubters, Anna penned on the social media channel: “For all the people throughout my studies/career who told me my image didn’t suit being a pharmacist and that I couldn’t be this glam girl that liked to take sexy pictures and go to work as a healthcare professional.
“I say you can do both and be whoever and whatever you want to be in life since being true to yourself is the most important thing you can do.
“How you look on the outside doesn’t determine your knowledge. Here’s to breaking stereotypes.”
Greg O'Shea

Greg is arguably the most famous of the contestants to snub the limelight after leaving the show.
The Irishman won series five with Amber Gill, but the couple split after leaving the villa and he was targeted by social media trolls.
Greg, who was a late arrival in the villa, was later slammed for allegedly dumping Amber by text.
“Smiling now and I’m happy for them, but it’s gonna be hard to see England basically back to normal life tomorrow,” wrote Greg in a message to his one million Instagram fans.
“How do you mute people again?”
Rugby Union international Greg has just returned from playing for his country at the Toyko Olympics as part of Ireland’s 7s team.
Malin Andersson

The 23 year old starred in the second series of Love Island, but was a trained elderly and palliative carer before signing up for reality TV.
She, like Alex and Anna, pledged her support to the Covid effort when she returned to her former day job.
"I can’t sit at home on my own anymore knowing I have training within the sector,” she tweeted at the time.
“If I can give something more than what I’m doing – then I am satisfied."
Malin is currently expected her second child later this year after previously being struck by tragedy when her daughter Consy died just weeks after she was born.
Theo Campbell

He starred in the 2017 series of the show and had no problems stirring up some serious drama.
But the professional athlete returned to his day job as a runner and footballer.
The former reality star has since become a father and, although he has 327,000 Instagram followers, he has no gone on to achieve the lofty levels of success of some of his fellow Islanders.
He suffered a nasty eye injury in 2019 in a freak accident with a Champagne cork. However, he was given a boost this year when he became a first-time dad.
Harley Judge

He starred in series three of the ITV2 show but was an estate agent before entering the villa.
After leaving he returned to selling houses and has since taken up bodybuilding.
He has 146,000 Instagram followers and often posts snaps of his bulging biceps on the his social media platform.
Harley is also an online fitness coach having really discovered a passion for getting fit since his TV spell in Majorca.
