Love Island is back - and ITV have promised there's a long hot summer in store!
The ITV show has returned our screens for another series, which began on Monday June 6, with Laura Whitmore set to host whilst her husband Iain Stirling provides the much-loved voiceover commentary.
As the series heats up, we've got the details on all the Islanders who are spending their summer in the Majorcan villa - which is in a new location this year - in a bid to find their one true love.
11 islanders entered the villa at first - but with bombshells coming, we've got the only guide you need to all this year's Islanders.
As always, bosses have been keeping tight lipped about all the drama we can expect in the coming months, but there will be plenty of challenges, recouplings and much more as Love Island airs on ITV2 in its usual 9pm slot each day.
A recap episode will air every Saturday and after Sunday's episode, Laura will present spin-off show Aftersun, as a celebrity panel join her to comment on the latest drama from the villa, and the axed Islanders will be there to give their side of the story!
And yes, we can't wait to see what this lot get up to in the villa!
Paige Thorne, 24
Love Island's Paige Thorne is a paramedic who hails from Swansea, Wales.
Speaking about why she decided to join the show, she said: "In Swansea there is just no-one I can find, I’ve tried and there’s just nobody there anymore. I need to break out and broaden my horizons and Love Island just brings everyone together for me. I haven't got to go out and I haven’t got to swipe. So, hopefully they can just come to me now!"
She describes herself as "positive and bubbly". She also says she is "quite mumsy" and is a good cook, convinced TV chef Gordon Ramsay would give her a nine or 10 out of 10.
Dami Hope, 26
Irish hunk Dami Hope is a senior microbiologist that hails from Dublin in Ireland.
"This year I was kind of being more open to new things and I think actually that's why I put myself out there to get some new experiences. Love Island is a different experience, I will be talking to different girls, it might not go well with some, might go well with others, so it’s a fun experience," he said of his reason for going on the show.
The Mirror exclusively revealed Dami was one of the contestants, and the microbiologist describes himself as "very passionate".
"If they had something they wanted to do or something they were passionate about, I’d make sure that even if it’s something I’m not talented at I’d get talented at it just so it helps them. I’m really good at being in a team and actually looking after each other," he said.
Indiyah Polack, 23
Indiyah Polack is a hotel waitress who hails from London and she's joined Love Island as she's ready to "start dating properly".
Speaking ahead of the ITV2 show, she said: "I feel like I’m at a stage in my life now where I’m ready to meet new people and start dating properly. I have been single for some time and I feel like for my generation of people, it’s quite hard to date without being influenced by social media and stuff like that. Love Island particularly is like a closed space and I think it is a great place to get to know someone one-on-one and build a real connection."
However, Indiyah admits she hasn't got a type as "everyone she's dated have all been quite different".
Who will catch Indiyah's eye this year?
Liam Llewellyn, 22
Masters Student Liam Llewellyn is hoping to find love this summer. He is from Newport, South Wales and is studying Strength & Conditioning at university and is ready to find love now he has turned 22.
"I think 22 is a really nice age to meet someone, you’ve got your years ahead of you so you have time to experience stuff and grow together. I think Love Island is a great opportunity to meet someone, you’re in with a load of different types, so you can get to grips with what you really like about people," he said.
And he's hoping to use compliments to win the girls over - by telling them they're "mint" or they've "got nice feet".
Asked how he'd impress someone, he said: "Pay them a compliment! The thing that girls quite like is that I’m not just like, 'You’re mint.' I’m like, 'Your eyes are piercing, I’m lost in your eyes.' Or I’ll say something like, 'You’ve got nice feet' or something."
Tasha Ghouri, 23
Tasha Ghouri is a model and dancer who hails from Thirsk in Yorkshire. She promises to bring some "wildness" to the villa but describes dating as a "shambles" for her.
She has a cochlear implant and says she's regularly called "inspirational" because she is open about her hearing.
Asked how her family and friends would describe her, she said: "They would definitely describe me as wild. I can get very wild on a night out, I’m definitely a party animal. I love my prosecco and to have a dance - I’m always on the dance floor.
"I’m very loyal to my friends and family, I’ll always have their backs. I’m the type of person to put others before me. They would definitely say I’m a nap queen - I love napping!"
Tasha teased she could be the one causing a stir in the villa this year, as she said she's not afraid to step on toes to bag herself a man this series - but she's promised to do it "in the nicest way possible".
Davide Sanclimenti, 27
Describing himself as an Italian Stallion, Davide Sanclimenti hails from Rome, Italy - but he lives in Manchester.
"I think Love Island is going to be so much fun. I’m going to be the Italian stallion in the Villa!" he said.
Davide is hoping his Italian charm will help him find his spouse on the show, and he is desperate to find his "soulmate" he can settle down with and start a family with too one day.
"With my Italian charm, I can also be a very romantic guy. I’m good looking and I’ve realised since I first arrived in Manchester, a lot of English girls actually love me. They love to be around me and I love to be around them. It’s going to be fun, I’m looking forward to it. I want to find my soulmate, find my person so I can actually build something in the future, grow with them, be a family."
Gemma Owen, 19
Gemma Owen is the latest contestant to be confirmed for the show. She lives in Chester, north England and is an international dressage rider as well as a business owner.
Her father is England footballer Michael Owen, and she herself is into sports too.
"I've competed for Great Britain in dressage since I was 11-years-old. I’ve travelled all across Europe competing in big arenas in big competitions. I would say I’m very competitive. [When it comes to relationships] I will always go for what I want," she said.
"But at the same time, I’m not going to mess up something for someone who is in a proper relationship or get in the way of a couple if they have a genuine connection. I wouldn’t do anything to another girl that I wouldn’t be happy with them doing to me."
Ikenna Ekwonna, 23
Ikenna Ekwonna is a pharmaceutical sales specialist from Nottingham.
Asked what he would bring to the villa this summer, he said: "Hopefully, I’m going to bring spontaneity and excitement. I’m not really shy to speak to people and I don’t really care too much about what people think."
He recalled how he surprised one of his exes, with a four night stay in Barcelona - but he admits that it was quite a lavish gift at the age of 19, and he thinks he spent far too much on it.
"I took my ex on holiday for her birthday. We went to Barcelona for four nights and I was pretty young then, maybe like 19-20. It was for her birthday so she didn’t know about it. It was quite a lot of money to spend for that age," he shared.
Will Ikenna find love this summer?
Andrew Le Page, 27
Hoping to find love this summer is international real-estate agent Andrew Le Page from Guernsey, but he now lives in Dubai.
He describes himself as a "good boyfriend" and says now was the right time to go on the show, as he's rarely single.
"When I’m with someone I'm very loyal, I’m a good boyfriend as when I’m with someone I’m all for them," and asked why now to go on the ITV2 show, he added: "Because I’m actually single for once, so I thought why not? This is the best time to give it a go."
Amber Beckford, 24
Amber Beckford is a nanny aged 24, who hails from London.
But let's hope the guys don't try and show off too much in front of her as she has dubbed it a huge "ick" for her.
She added: "I don’t like guys that show off. I don’t like flashy, showy-offy guys - just have a personality and make me laugh. There was this one guy and he was trying to purposefully show off his car keys and we were literally in the middle of a restaurant!"
Whilst she describes herself as patient, she also admits she is "opinionated", sharing ahead of the show: "As I work with kids I have patience with kids but adults, they annoy me!"
Luca Bish, 23
Fishmonger Luca Bish spends his days working in Brighton.
But this summer, he's swapping the south coast for sunny hot Mallorca, where he will be hoping to find his true love - and he thinks he stands a good chance as Love Island has created many longstanding relationships.
"When you actually look back at Love Island, you can see how many couples it’s genuinely made. I don’t know how many kids Love Island has made but there are a few aren’t there?" he shared.
Afia Tonkmor, 25
Afia Tonkmor entered the villa as a bombshell just two days into the series. She is a Lounge Host at a Private Members Club in London; she's ready to settle down and thinks she'll be great for any of the guys in the villa.
"I think I am a big catch. I am fun and bubbly to have around. Uplifting and I really care and do lots of nice things for my other half," she said, and when asked why she was still single, she added: "I just haven’t met Mr Right. I am a bit picky!"
She thinks Love Island will be the perfect way to find a man as she hates the idea of dating through apps.
Afia shared: "I don't like any apps at all, so in a more organic way, it’s never really been hard for me because I am so friendly. I’ve always found it easy just to meet people face-to-face. I’ve just never met someone that I want to be with long-term."
Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu, 27
Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu is a 27-year-old actress from Essex, who entered the villa after just a few days as a bombshell.
She wants a "genuine spark" with someone and thinks Love Island is the way to get it.
"I’ve seen relationships that have worked out really well - and marriages! Dom and Jess, Camilla and Jamie - they’ve had kids as well. Dating for me has been very hard, especially in today’s world with dating apps," she explained.
"It’s a very false perception of somebody on these apps. I’ve found that whenever I’ve tried to date somebody through these apps, it’s been really unsuccessful. I’m looking for that real genuine spark and they just see me as me."
She added: "I think the concept of the show brings back true and raw feelings."
Ekin-Su is an actress in Turkey on a programme called Kuzey Yildizi.
*Love Island airs on ITV2 and ITV Hub at 9pm on Mondays through to Fridays and Sundays. Episodes are available the following morning on BritBox.
