Love Island All Stars 2024: release date and rumoured cast as Maya Jama set to host

Maya Jama will host Love Island: All-Stars when the show is broadcast in January, it has been announced.

Jama, 29, presented the 2023 winter and summer series of Love Island, and a new teaser clip released on Sunday confirmed the TV and radio presenter’s return.

In the clip, shared on social media, Jama appears as a silhouette and is dressed in a couture gown as she walks onto set. The teaser ends with a red curtain falling as the Love Island theme tune plays with cameras flashing as the new Love Island: All-Stars logo is revealed alongside the date January 2024.

The Love Island villa is set to reopen its doors as beloved stars from past series try their hand at romance again.

The winners of Love Island’s 2023 summer series were Sammy Root and Jess Harding, who claimed a £50,000 prize.

When is the Love Island All Stars release date?

Love Island: All-Stars is coming to ITV2 and ITVX in January 2024, but a release date has not yet been confirmed.

The show will see former bombshells and iconic contestants return for a second chance at finding love.

Which ex-islanders will be on Love Island All Stars?

The line-up for All Stars has not been officially confirmed. However, since news of the new series broke, rumours have abounded about who could re-enter the villa.

Among the potential cast are reportedly season five’s Ovie Soko and Michael Griffiths

Ovie Soko (ITV)

A source told the Sun: "Ovie and Michael [Griffiths] emerged as the angel and devil of series five and both, for their own reasons, made tremendous TV.

"Both remain seriously hot property with the ladies and Ovie especially is an icon among the Love Island fandom. They'll make amazing signings for All Stars if ITV are able to get their signing across the line."

Paige Thorne has also reportedly signed up for the All Stars series, despite being linked to rapper Formz.

Other names rumoured to be taking part include Chloe Burrows, Faye Winter and Joe Garratt.

Fans were particularly keen to see an appearance from Maura Higgins. However, she appeared to quash rumours about a Love Island return on Instagram Live. "I’m never going to go back on to Love Island," she said on 17 September.

"I feel like I’ve done it once and I think once is enough and I’m a bit old for that. I feel like I’m really enjoying what I’m doing… I just don’t really want to go backwards, I want to look forward," she continued.

"Like, not saying anything bad about people that would do it again, but like, each to their own. Yeah, just not me."
