Love Island airs brutal double dumping as Haris axed with Anna-May amid street brawl video

Love Island has axed Anna-May Robey and Haris Namani in a brutal double dumping on Wednesday night’s episode of the ITV2 show.

The previous episode had ended on an ominous cliffhanger, moments before the identity of the axed Islanders was revealed.

The closing scenes of the show ended on a twist following a public vote for the boys and the girls, which has left Kai Fagan, Tom Clare and Haris vulnerable to elimination among the boys.

Meanwhile among the girls, Anna-May, Tanyel Revan and Tanya Manhenga are at risk of being sent home this week.

The show revealed that Australian bombshells Aaron Waters and Jessie Wynter would be making the big decision on which boy and which girl would go home next.

The newcomers from the Australian spin-off of the ITV2 reality dating show were forced to choose, which resulted in them picking Anna-May and Haris after an intense scene of back and forth.

In the tense scenes, Jessie whispered: “Love you guys” before walking across the garden with Aaron to make their decision.

She admitted her nerves before Aaron assured her: “So am I, I’ve got no idea, I don’t even know where to start.”

Aaron and Jessie struggled to make their decision when talking about one of the boys as Jessie admitted one of the three on the chopping block was one of her best friends in the villa.

Aaron replied: “I know, I actually like all of the guys, but you can’t think like that.”

Jessie said: “Ok, let’s break this down” as Aaron finally asks her: “What’s your decision?”

They then stood before their fellow Islanders and told them who would be leaving – as two of the original cast members were forced to pack their bags.

One of the unlucky Islanders was revealed ahead of the elimination, as Love Island star Haris was dumped from the ITV2 South African villa.

The 21-year-old TV salesman became the second Islander to be booted off after David Salako left last week, in what is said to be explosive scenes filmed on Monday night.

Haris' exit comes after a video emerged appearing to show the ITV star in an ugly street brawl, which shows him appear to land a punch on the unnamed man as they face off in the street.

ITV have yet to comment on the scenes, but a source close to the show says bosses were 'relieved' Haris lost the public vote and has now exited the villa.

The results of the public vote were revealed to the contestants on Monday, with Haris becoming the latest star to leave after he expressed interest in a number of women in the villa and even locked horns with Shaq Muhammad.

Love Island airs every night at 9pm on ITV2 and ITV Hub.
