Love Island is back for the winter edition of the popular ITV2 dating show. The programme, which is usually filmed in summer, launched its first January series in South Africa in 2020, however, the second season was delayed due to the pandemic.
Three years ago, Paige Turley and Finn Tapp won the first ever winter edition and now a line-up of 10 new contestants will be hoping to follow in their footsteps. As well as the original cast members, many bombshells will be joining the show as late arrivals along the way with the hopes of being lucky in love.
Those in the original line-up this year include payroll administrator Anna-May Robey from Swansea, farmer and TikTok star Will Young, and student and makeup artist Lana Jenkins. As well as Michelle Keegan body double and Bond star Olivia Hawkins.

And while viewers will be introduced to the 10 new Islanders when the show launches on ITV2 and ITVX at 9pm on Monday, January 16, there will also be a shock bombshell announcement as the contestants learn the public have been voting for a late arrival.
Fans of the show had to chose whether to send either 25-year-old Ellie Spence, a Business Development Executive at a law firm from Norwich, or Tom Clare, a 23-year-old semi-pro footballer from Barnsley, into the villa. You can read more about Ellie and Tom here.
Here's the original cast list in full, including the first bombshells of 2023.
