Love Island 2022: Everything you need to know about the return of the ITV series

Love Island is back, and there’s only a week to go until a fresh batch of hot singletons enter the Majorca villa.

The ITV series has supplied us with laughter, tears and iconic one liners over the years so we can’t wait to hear Iain Sterling commentate it once again.

With his wife, and Wicklow native, Laura Whitmore hosting, it’s going to be a summer of entertainment.

When does Love Island 2022 start?

Love Island will officially return to our screens on June 6, 2022.

Where can Irish viewers watch the series?

Anyone living in the Republic of Ireland can watch Love Island on Virgin Media 2 and they can catch up on Virgin Media player.

Can Irish people vote?

Unfortunately anyone in Ireland can’t vote for their favourite islanders. Voting is for UK residents only.

Who is on Love Island 2022?

The Love Island 2022 contestants include a paramedic, a senior microbiologist from Dublin and a hotel waitress.

How long is Love Island on for?

Nothing has been confirmed, but reports are suggesting the 2022 series will run for 10 weeks!

What time is Love Island on?

Love Island 2022 will air at 9:00pm every night with a few exceptions.

How to apply for Love Island?

The ITV website states: “ITV2 are looking for vibrant singles from across the UK who want to head to the sun, in search of love!

“The chosen cast will spend time in a luxury villa, getting to know one another, but to remain in paradise they must win the hearts of the public and their fellow Islanders who ultimately decide their fate on Love Island.

“If you think you’ve got what it takes, then we want to hear from you straight away.”
