Love Island 2019 final: All the action as it happened

Love Island 2019 has finally come to a dramatic close, with Amber Gill and Greg O'Shea crowned the champions of series five.

The pair, who coupled up just over a week ago following law student Greg's arrival in the villa, managed to capture the nation's heart with their whirlwind romance, which came after Amber had her heart broken by fellow contestant Michael Griffiths.

Molly-Mae Hague and Tommy Fury came in second place, with Ovie Soko and India Reynolds coming in third. Curtis Pritchard and Maura Higgins finished in fourth position.

Series five saw catchphrases come and go (despite Lucie Donlan's best efforts to make "bev" the word of the summer, it's safe to say her slang did not catch on), romances broken off in spectacularly brutal fashion and the making of a national treasure in the form of basketball player Ovie.
