Love Is Blind fans were outraged as the live reunion show was cancelled last minute.
The scenes were set to be live-streamed on Netflix, but the highly-anticipated event didn't end up going ahead as planned after the platform crashed.
It left viewers up in arms at having to watch the end of season four on a delay.
Amid fans expressing their major disappointment on social media, Netflix was forced to issue an apology on Twitter and has since announced when the delayed reunion will be available.
However, the stars of the show have now come out and said the issues were actually due to the number of people trying to watch the show.
Fan favourite Paul Peden told TMZ it wasn't the streaming giants who were to blame for the mishap, but instead the volume of subscribers trying to tune in.
And couple Zack Goytowski and Bliss Poureetezadi had a similar message when the same question was posed to them in the airport.
Bliss said: "There is just so much love for the show that it just overwhelmed things," before shutting down further questions by saying the issue will have to be followed up with Netflix.
The show finale was eventually shown a day later and Paul has revealed he was unhappy with host Vanessa Lachey's line of questioning.
The 29-year-old claimed the probing of his antics in the explosive reunion episode was tinted with "personal bias" from the presenter and added he thought it was more of an "interrogation" rather than an open dialogue about the past season.

He had been pressed for his reasons to opt against marrying Micah Lussier hours before their wedding.
And taking a look back at the heated scenes, Paul has said he felt Vanessa "kept drilling in" on the subject, which eventually made him question her character.
Speaking to PEOPLE Magazine, he said: "It was drilling into these things, and I don't know.
"In all, it's alright. I think that no matter what you say, no matter what the conversation is, your character comes through in what you say.
"I thought that I detected a little bit of personal bias there. I'm not sure what it was," Paul added. "And I guess she's within her right to drill on personal bias, but she shouldn't present as being an objective neutral party if that's the case.
