Love Actually with full orchestra is coming to the stage this Christmas

Love Actually will be played in HD on a screen with a live orchestra to bring the movie to life this November at the Bord Gais Energy Theatre.

The orchestra is going on a tour across the UK for Christmas time 2023, with a Dublin date recently added to the tour. The soundtrack of the movie will be played by the full orchestra to accompany the movie on screen.

The York Press said: "The live orchestra works to enhance this experience - and what a joyful one it is."

Love Actually was written and directed by Richard Curtis and was released in 2003. Since then the movie has become synonymous with getting in the festive spirit every Christmas time.

The movie follows 10 different love story lines that all intertwined in quirky ways and boasts an all-star cast, featuring Liam Neeson, Colin Firth, Laura Linney, Bill Nighy, Martine McCutcheon, Alan Rickman, Emma Thompson, Keira Knightley, Rowan Atkinson, Martin Freeman and many more.

The live orchestra will be conducted by Craig Armstrong, who is perhaps one of the UK’s most recognised film composers, with his work being awarded a BAFTA for his Achievement in Film Music.

The show is on for one night only on November 29, tickets are €76.25 and go on sale March 30th at 9am from singular artists website.
