Louis Tomlinson fans had been urged not to camp overnight for his upcoming gigs at Banquet Records but flocked to the venue despite warnings.
The Kingston-upon-Thames venue which are working with Pryzm had instructed fans not to camp out due to the sub-zero temperatures and freezing weather across the UK.
However, fans have taken to social media to share images of people camping overnight in an attempt to secure a spot close to the stage during Louis' string of shows.
The hitmaker is currently riding on a high after his second studio album Faith In The Future charted at Number One leaving the Doncaster lad overjoyed.
Now, Banquet Records has been praised after introducing a wristband system, meaning those who arrive at the advertised time will be allowed in first.
The company is giving out coloured wristbands, meaning those who camp or arrive hours in advance will be pushed to the back of the queue.
A spokesperson for Banquet posted on Twitter : "We are letting in blue wristbands first, then silver, then red. aware this will upset some but there has to be repercussions for queuing too early."
Those in the queue overnight or extremely early were given a red wristband, while those who queue before 8pm were given silver and people who arrived at 8.30 were issued a blue wristband.
"Love it, finally a venue following their rules," said one fan.
While a second went on to say: "People getting angry about this but like...why in your right MIND would you camp in this weather anyway?"
"This is how it should be done. they EXPLICITLY said DO NOT CAMP and finally some repercussions," exclaimed a third.
Before a fourth commented: "Thank you - this is for safety and efficiency. People need to be respectful of places, rules, and other people."
Speaking previously, a spokesperson for Banquet said: "We cannot allow people to sleep overnight in this freezing weather and importantly nor will the police.
"The gig will not happen if people are queuing in freezing temperatures the night before."
Meanwhile, the O2 Shepherd's Bush Empire, where Louis is performing on Wednesday, December 14 also issued a warning, stating: "We're as excited about this show as anyone, but we must stress that you won't be able to queue for it until 9am on Wednesday 14 December."
Despite the sub-zero temperatures and suffering from a broken arm, Louis had been touring the UK meeting fans at album signings to celebrate landing his first solo Number One.
