Louis Tomlinson has cancelled his album signing in Newcastle, due to injury, as hundreds of fans were expected to line up to meet the One Direction star at HMV.
There was great excitement last month when former X Factor judge Louis announced a string of signings across the country in support of his new album Faith in the Future, with other dates in the diary including Birmingham, London, Manchester and Edinburgh. The album, featuring songs like Out of My System and Bigger Than Me, was released last Friday to a rave reaction and looks set to chart highly in the top 40 this week, having been in the top 3 albums on iTunes since its launch.
AS well as promoting the album on UK soil, Louis has also been travelling further afield and it was after an appearance in New York, that he injured himself, taking to social media to confirm to fans that he'd broken his arm. In the note posted online, Louis wrote: "Thank you to everyone who's listened to the album sop far, it means the world to me.

"The show in New York last night was incredible. Unfortunately, on the way back I've managed to fall and break my right arms pretty badly. So I'm sorry to say. I'll have to re-schedule the signings." He signed it off: "Thank you for all your support and thanks to anyone who was coming."
