Ireland has yet another new millionaire after a lucky player scooped €1 million in Wednesday night's draw.
The ticketholder six numbers and the bonus to win the top prize in the Lotto Plus 1 game.
The numbers drawn were 5, 10, 23, 31, 34, 36 and the bonus 30.
Meanwhile, there was no winner of the main Lotto jackpot worth €3.2 million.
The numbers picked were 1, 7, 28, 33, 35, 45 and the bonus 15.
In total, over 72,000 players won prizes in the Lotto and Lotto Plus draws on Wednesday night.
There was also no winner of the Lotto Plus 2 top prize of €250,000.
The numbers drawn were 6, 13, 26, 33, 34, 39 and the bonus 7.
It comes as the National Lottery issued an appeal to players in Galway and Roscommon to check their tickets carefully from the Saturday, December 25 draw as two Match 5 prizes worth €22,778 remain unclaimed.
Ticketholders have 90 days from the draw date to claim their prizes which means that the claim deadline for the two outstanding Lotto Match 5 prizes is close of business on Friday, March 25.
The winning Lotto numbers for the December 25 draw were: 11, 17, 19, 23, 26, 43 and the bonus 31.
The winning tickets, which are now worth €22,778 each, were both purchased on Friday, December 24.
The Galway ticket holder purchased their ticket at Mannion’s Supermarkets & Emo Service Station on the Miltown Road in Tuam, Co Galway while the Roscommon player won their share of the Match 5 prize fund after purchasing their ticket at Mulvihill’s Newsagents on the Main Street in Castlerea, Co Roscommon.
A National Lottery spokesperson has urged Lotto players in Galway and Roscommon to check their old tickets as soon as possible to ensure that they do not miss out on claiming their Match 5 prizes.
