Earlier today, a lucky Lotto player from Dublin today picked up a huge prize after they matched five numbers and the bonus in the July 20 draw.
There was huge excitement in the National Lottery’s winners room on Wednesday afternoon as the punter arrived to collect a whopping €410,608.
The ecstatic player, who has asked to keep their identity private, spoke of the moment they realised they had won the life-changing sum.
“I was just in complete and utter shock,” they said.
“I actually hid the ticket somewhere in the house for a couple of days until I could calm down and get my head around it.
“I must have checked it a hundred times just to be sure I wasn’t dreaming”, they said.
The winning Quick Pick Play with Plus ticket was purchased on the day of the draw at Tesco Superstore, Whitestown Road, Rush, Co Dublin.
Revealing what they plan to do with the stunning prize, the winner said: “A dream of mine has always been to travel route 66 on a Harley-Davidson and I can’t believe I’m finally able to do it!
“It’s just wild, I never thought something like this would happen to me. I’m looking forward to taking care of the family and celebrating with them”, they added.
