A Dublin punter is celebrating after becoming Ireland's newest millionaire last night.
The player, from south Co Dublin, scooped a staggering €2.3 million making them the country's ninth Lotto jackpot winner of 2022. The winning numbers for Wednesday’s draw were: 1, 11, 14, 19, 27, 39, and the bonus was 44
The National Lottery is urging Lotto players in Dublin to check their tickets to see if they won the life-changing jackpot. The winning store where the winning ticket was sold will be revealed on Friday.

The National Lottery is asking the winner, who is yet to make contact, to sign the back of their ticket and to keep it safe. The Dublin winner can get in touch with the National Lottery prize claims team on 1800 666 222 or email claims@lottery.ie and arrangements will be made for them to claim their prize.
A spokesperson said: “What a month October is shaping up to be already – with two incredible Lotto Jackpot wins within a week of each other! A National Lottery player from Dublin is waking up this morning as Irelands newest millionaire and has a Lotto ticket worth €2.3 Million in their possession!"
In total, over 61,000 players won prizes in the Lotto and Lotto Plus draws last night including one winner of the Match 5 + Bonus prize of €36,177. The Cork player bought their quick pick ticket on the day of the draw in Centra Foodstore, in Ballineen, Co Cork.
