Lotto results Ireland: Dublin player scoops staggering half a mil EuroMillions jackpot

A Dublin player is celebrating after winning a whopping €500,000 in last night's EuroMillions draw.

The winning Quick Pick ticket was sold on September 30 at the Spar store which is situated on Drogheda Street in Balbriggan. The winning numbers are 02, 09, 31, 40, 48

The owner of the winning store, Paddy O’Neill, said: "This is absolutely huge news in Balbriggan this morning. My phone rang late last night, and it was my local National Lottery rep. As a retailer, you know that a late-night call from the National Lottery usually means good news."

There was no winner of the €30 million EuroMillions jackpot. Next Tuesday’s jackpot rolls to an estimated €40 million.

The Dublin ticketholder is advised to sign the back of their winning ticket and to keep it safe. The winner should make contact with the National Lottery prize claims team on 1800 666 222 or email claims@lottery.ie and arrangements will be made for them to claim their prize.

Meanwhile, as Saturday night’s Lotto jackpot rolls to an estimated €8.5 million, the National Lottery has reminded players that an additional €1 million is guaranteed to be won in a special Lotto Plus Raffle draw.
