Lotto confirms location of Ireland's newest millionaire as players in Dublin and Meath urged to check tickets

A Meath lotto player has become Ireland's latest millionaire following a big scoop in the Lotto Plus draw.

Wednesday’s numbers proved to add up to a handsome payday for online players, with the two top prize winners in Meath and Dublin.

The Meath online player has been crowned the 17th National Lottery millionaire of the year, after landing the top prize of €1 million in the Lotto Plus 1 draw.

Wednesday's winning draw numbers were: 02, 06, 18, 21, 27, 37 and the bonus was 40.

A Dublin lotto player also won a top prize in the Lotto 5-4-3-2-1 game. They matched 5 out of 6 numbers to win €125,000.

The winning Lotto numbers in last Wednesday's main draw were: 03, 09, 18, 21, 25, 34 and the bonus was 37.

A National Lottery spokesperson said despite no outright winner of the €2,734,338 jackpot, over 71,000 players won prizes across the Lotto and Lotto Plus games.

"We are encouraging all of our players, particularly online players in Meath and Dublin, to check their tickets carefully as two players have become top prize winners," they said.

The Dublin and Meath winners are being advised by lotto chiefs to contact the Prize Claims team on 1800 666 222 or email claims@lottery.ie and "arrangements will be made for them to claim their prizes.”

A winning lotto player from the Saturday April 1 draw has still not made contact to collect tens of thousands they have won.

"A player who purchased their Lotto 5-4-3-2-1 ticket at the Top Oil Service Station on the Longford Road in Mullingar is yet to come forward to claim their €40,000 prize for that particular evening.

"The Westmeath player won on the 7 Number Game on the Lotto Plus 2 draw. The claim deadline is tomorrow Friday, June 30, so we are keen to hear from the winner as soon as possible," a lotto spokesperson said.
