Lottie Ryan and Jennifer Zamparelli have ruled themselves out as next hosts of The Late Late Show - as the pair announce a new parenting podcast.
The 2FM pals have decided to join forces and present an "honest, no holds barred, hilarious but extremely real parenting podcast".
But they confirmed they will not be the next hosts of The Late Late Show - with Jennifer saying she wants Baz Ashmawy to take over from Ryan Tubridy.
Jennifer said: "I haven't got the phone call yet so either they are leaving it very late or....," she said, laughing.
Lottie added: "You have to have Ryan in your name to do it so.... No, it's not happening."
Jennifer said: "I want to see the best person for the job. Can I give my honest opinion about who I would love to see do it, I would love to see Baz do it. I think that's a great fit.
"He's done his time. He's really empathetic, he's really funny and he's really charismatic.
"And not only that but he would do a bloody great Toy Show.
"But there are lots of people who are capable. I suppose you can't please everyone.
"But I would love to see Baz. I think he would be the first one for the job."
Jen joked that they could rotate the gig to different presenters each week - saying "they probably need to shake it up anyway".
Speaking about their new weekly parenting podcast, Jennifer said: "I wish there was something like this for me as a new parent because nothing prepares you for the gross stuff or the some of the crazy stuff that happens on a daily basis.
"Myself and Lottie do not claim to have the answer, or any answers in fact!
"But we want to create a safe and open space for all parents to come and be part of. A community of honest parenting. No judgement. No advice. Just honesty."
Lottie said: "This is something Jen and I have been working on for a long time. The fact that it's finally here and ready to be born fills me with excitement, terror and butterflies – kind of like parenting! We want to create a place for other parents, soon to be parents, or mates of people who are parents, to come and understand what this is really like."
Lottie and Jen will discuss their deepest fears, their epic fails and occasional small wins as parents.
Lottie tries to navigate toddler meltdowns and Jen really hasn’t a clue how to talk about the birds and the bees.
From getting pregnant to bribing family members to babysit, Jen and Lottie take no prisoners and divulge the real journey of becoming, and being a parent.
Jen said the 12-episode podcast will be relatable.
"When we said we would do this we really wanted to do a warts and all and when we decide on an image, we are being sarcastic because it is impossible to look like this while doing the lunches.
"We don't just talk about parenting. We talk about our relationships as well and how that affected our marriages. Our relationships with our mothers and how it affected our relationship with our friends and our work colleagues.
"It's stuff that you don't read about because they are too embarrassed to talk about because they are either going to be parent shamed or they feel that they have to give this persona that they should know what to do in these situations.
"We're not giving advice. It's not preachy. It's very real."
