Nottingham Forest supporters have sent an encouraging message to their team on social media, despite the 2-0 defeat to Tottenham Hotspur at the City Ground.
The Reds' fell to their second defeat of the season but it was not all discouraging as Steve Cooper's side produced some spells of excellence as they looked for a response. In the end, Spurs' experience proved to be the difference with Harry Kane bagging a brace.
Manchester United loanee Dean Henderson denied Kane from the penalty spot in the second-half.
Here is what the Reds' faithful have had to say...

Twheatman: "I thought we held our own. Kane had 3 chances and put 2 away. If we play like that all season we'll pick up some points. Yooooooo reds!"
MarkyNFFC: "Be alright, we’ve got an easy away game next."
Daniel: "Shocking ref, poor decision by pulling shirts, need to be more clinical, very unlucky overall today."
TrickyTreesDave: "Very good account of themselves, absolutely no shame in losing. The lads put in a shift and a half, the team is gelling, the goals and wins will come."
Paul Edwards: "Got to say, I really enjoyed watching that. We didn’t half give them a game. Just need to be more streetwise in certain situations, but that will come with more games and experience. Spurs are a top side &they showed why, but Forest were great for large parts of that game."
Scott: "We may have lost, but we were going up against 1 of the top 4 last season. This game was never going to be easy. A good performance by the boys, we gave Spurs a match they had to fight for. Dean Henderson writing himself into the hero books."
Casey: "To all the so called forest fan moaning and saying stuff and haven’t been watching or been at City Ground give your head a wobble as the performance from these guys was amazing and it could of been four or five goals we move onto the next game, Spurs only scored 2."
Matty: "We’ll done lads, good game of football. Shout out to Hendo."
Richard Stimpson: "Great performance! Carry that on and we’ll be alright."
FPL Forest: "If we’re going to continue playing like this we HAVE to be more clinical, lapses of concentration isn’t good enough at this level, onto City."
Rachel: "Lots of learning from that. I enjoyed it. Need to create more opportunities in the box/finishing. Brenno is aching to score. Some lovely play between JL BJ MWG and for a team that’s only just come together it’s all positive!"
Lou: "Genuinely a good performance. Play like that against most teams in the league and we’re getting something from the game."
Andrew Gabbitas: "Play like that for the rest of the season and we will be fine. Must stick with Cooper through thick and thin."
Henrik: "We could and should have scored today… Played well and overall a good match with lots of good things to take from it. But when you play the big boys and give them the kind of easy chances we gave them, they will score… Keep learning, fighting and believing, YOU REDS!"
Molly: "Played really well today lads very proud of you."
