Liverpool was once home to a nightclub loved in the 1990s for its DJ sets, foam parties and live music.
Paradox in Aintree attracted thousands of Merseyside clubbers every week from its opening in 1991 until its closure in 2001. As well as hosting famous singers and bands, the nightclub had numerous themed nights, including ABBA parties and a James Bond lookalike contest.
The ECHO recently wrote an article about Paradox and many of you got in touch to share your “great memories” of the club. Hundreds of you commented underneath the original article on our Facebook page, reminiscing about why Paradox was the “best nightclub ever”.
