Losses widened by £1m at a taxi dispatch software provider owed by Uber during its latest financial year.
According to newly-filed documents with Companies House, Autocab's pre-tax losses went from £676,358 to £1.6m in 2021. Its revenue also remained static at £8.5m.
The company was acquired by Uber in 2020 and revealed in January 2022 that it planned to create 200 jobs by 2025 after relocating from Cheadle Royal Business Park to No.2 Circle Square in Manchester.

Autocab was founded 30 years ago by Falah Abod and provides technology for the taxi and private hire industry, connecting them to trips using its iGo platform.
During the year the average number of people employed by Autocab increased from 122 to 131.
In a statement signed off by the board, the company said: "In 2021 Autocab continued to invest in its SaaS services and continued to further support its customers through the impact of Covid-19.
"Despite the impact of the pandemic on the industry the company has successfully attained new business in the UK and globally.
"Autocab has further invested heavily in the company, increasing headcount in 2021 which will continue into 2022, whilst growing the award-winning iGo platform significantly."
It added: "The company is forecast to generate increasing revenues in 2022 and beyond."
