Los Angeles shooting: Three dead at warehouse party where rapper was performing

Three people were shot dead and others were seriously wounded in a deadly attack during a warehouse party.

Gunfire was heard in the area of Los Angeles, US, early on Sunday morning following a performance by rapper Money Sign Suede.

The party was advertised on social media ahead of the deadly attack in which three people have so far died, with at least four more in hospital.

Officers from Los Angeles Police Department are still looking for the shooter, CBS reported.

Rapper Money Sign Suede said on social media: “Sorry to all the families, I have nothing to do with what happened, I was long gone, not my show, not my party.

“It was a paid performance.”

He later added: “Just wanna get on here real quick to send my condolences to what happened after this paid show.

“I pray for all the people who were injured and died last night. My condolences and heart goes out to all the families of this hurt.

“Didn’t want none of that to happen, I was getting home when I got the call.

“Sorry to everyone.”

Police confirmed six people were shot and three died in the tragedy.

It is unclear whether the shooting was gang-related.

Tributes have been laid at the scene of the shooting, including candles.

LAPD appealed for witnesses of the tragedy.

It comes as former It Girl Lady Victoria Hervey revealed she carries a gun in the US and will not give it up.

The British socialite lives in Los Angeles and owns a Glock 19 pistol, which was once standard issue for LA cops.

She told the Sunday Mirror: “I believe we should be able to have guns. It makes me feel safer.”

She said the Texas killing of 19 children and two teachers was “terrible” but claimed that a ban would lead to “genocide” in America.

She said: “It’s terrifying what is happening in Hollywood. The amount of people I know who have had a home invasion and survived because they had a gun.

“They need to make things stricter so guns don’t fall into the wrong hands.

“I think the age limit to own a gun should be higher and there should be very strict medical background checks.

“I know people with guns who think the shooting was awful but they see it as unfortunately something that’s happened and the probability is not that high compared to other things that kill us that are not being banned.

“There are way more people dying every year from heart disease than guns. The chances of someone being shot in school is not that high.”

“To take away that right [to carry guns] could be disastrous. It could lead to mass genocide if the government was to go to war against its people.”
