The Los Angeles Rams have made huge commitments to their hometown since moving back to the City of Angels in 2016, and are continuing to involve themselves this year by holding a Coach of the Year competition. The Rams are seeking candidates for the coveted award, which can be submitted directly to the team via a link they posted to Twitter on Tuesday.
Check out the link to the post below, and if you know someone who might be worthy of such an honor, nominate them so that the organization can keep them on its radar:

The only qualifications that a nominee must meet are that they are a head coach for a varsity high school football team in the state of California. Any coaches in the state are eligible to win the award, not only those in the greater Los Angeles area.
This period of open nominations will extend through the end of October but will end on November first. After nominees are properly vetted, the Rams will whittle down their list of candidates to a top-20, and proceed from there to determine which coach truly reigns supreme.
It is unclear what metrics the team will use to decide which coach out of their pool of talent will win the award, though every nominee will have at least through the end of October to make their case for the top 20 with their team’s performance on the gridiron.
In order to submit a nomination, one must submit some basic information about themselves, and the coach whom they wish to nominate and explain why the nominee is deserving of such a prestigious award. There is an option to add a photograph or video clip of the coach in question, which might help support a decision to include the nominee in the initial top 20 before further research by the team determines the final winner.
