The CEO of the Los Angeles Regional Food Bank has reported a significant increase in demand for assistance following the deadly wildfires that have displaced residents in the county. Michael Flood stated that the food bank has been receiving large-scale donations and has been operating at full capacity since the fires began last week.

Flood emphasized the food bank's ability to efficiently receive and distribute food, water, and other essential items to those in need. Additionally, the organization works in collaboration with a network of non-profit agencies to provide comprehensive support to individuals who have lost their homes.

Community response to the crisis has been overwhelmingly positive, with neighbors, corporations, and government entities coming together to offer donations and support. Flood expressed gratitude for the outpouring of generosity and assured that the food bank is equipped to continue assisting communities in Los Angeles not only in the immediate aftermath but also in the months to come.

Recognizing the magnitude of the devastation caused by the wildfires, Flood underscored the ongoing need for assistance, stating, 'The number of homes, structures, and businesses lost is massive, and the impact is significant.' The Los Angeles Regional Food Bank remains committed to providing aid and resources to those affected by the wildfires as the community works towards recovery.
