Christine Lampard has admitted she still gets shivers down her spine at the very sound of the Strictly Come Dancing theme tune, 14 years on from being a contestant on the show.
As Strictly fans countdown to the start of the new series of the TV phenomenon, with the likes of Fleur East, Matt Goss, Kym Marsh and Will Mellor on the line-up, Lorraine guest host Christine was joined in the ITV studio on Thursday by Dan Walker, the surprise package of last year's series, having made it way further than viewers and he himself expected.
Christine has something big in common with Dan as she too has been a Strictly contestant in her time, strutting into the BBC ballroom back in 2008. And as the two chatted about Strictly returning to screens, Christine said doing the show is an experience she'll never forget, although she does fin herself somewhat triggered by its famous theme song.

As it started to play in the studio, Christine said: "It's a weird feeling looking back on it reflectively. Every time you hear the music for the rest of your life it will sends chills," before adding: "It was an incredible experience and something that was, I guess, completely out of any comfort zone."
During her time on Strictly, Christine was partnered with pro dancer Matthew Cutler, who had won the show a year earlier with Alesha Dixon. Sadly, lightning didn't strike twice for Matthew, although he and Christine made it all the way to fifth place, before being beaten by popstar Rachel Stevens and her partner Vincent Simone in the dreaded dance-off.
Offering some advice to any of this year's contestants who may have been watching, Christine said: "Just roll with it and don't listen to what any of the judges really say."
